My Game and Topic

Hello!

I've chosen a somewhat daunting task for my game. I want it to be an investigative game, meshed with history information that people must determine from clues as to where they should go next. It may turn out to be more in depth than I want, but I'm looking forward to trying to get it all work. I'm going to make it an adventure game. The player will be the detective trying to find a murder in his town. At each crime scene, the murderer leaves clues as to where he will strike next. Hopefully it turns out as good as I want it to.

The links I posted on my blog spot should help with the killer's clues. I want him to link moments in history to where he'll strike next. Perhaps a leaving a clue saying that the person he's after lives where World War II ended...leaving the player to either go to 19th street and check house #45, or if they don't know when, they can go to the library, check out the history books, and find out the war ended in 1945, and go from there. I'm really looking forward to creating the clues, and making them increasingly harder, and with the links I found, it should be easy to find any date in the last 100 years and creating a clue from any number of the historic events.
